i just got home from japan, waiting for me was 2 books i wanted to read that came out while i was away (dead in the family by charlaine harris and the short second life of bree tanner by stephenie meyer) and i had an awesome idea while i was away. i was on cloud nine and then i remembered that i have to write in you and i was brought down.
i went to hiroshima and got the idea to write about people who were in hiroshima at 8.15am on the 6th of august 1945 from different points of view, a woman who died instantly, then a man who ran but eventually died in the black rain, a child who survived but then years later, looks back on the blast when hes in his death bed because of a blast related injury and then one of the survivers today who are looking back on it at an aniversary ceremony.
